experts, policymakers, and representatives from the forestry and agriculture sectors of the EU member states met at the international conference of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/orgbalt?__cft__%5b0%5d=AZWLi2kgbLk9E-sVyp2I_sdiut45cUEHcWe_xIzRPPEDWNbwiOzfq3QtbD3tfY21Nnml_eFr3vdW-j1ykv22jlwtjmL8CK23E57fcM2kj50hSISYPCPlmjXT-bUJKc0pWGUqE2nup25piK9gVXRZ5uiQxLkymG_3LwiR1fam8EytqXgtMOiON-2nrlb0-kKvcLS8GPOcBzVzmHTT3RqnGeKe&amp;__tn__=-%5dK-R\">LIFE OrgBalt<\/a> project \u201cClimate Change Mitigation in Organic Soils in Agricultural and Forest Lands\u201d and visited the project\u2019s demonstration sites.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orgbalt.eu\/?page_id=4870\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.orgbalt.eu\/?page_id=4870\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Please find all the recordings and class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organic soils within the EU regulatory frameworks and climate related policies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LIFE OrgBalt project results for developing coherent climate and environment policy for the land use sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distribution of peatlands and organic soils in the Baltic Sea region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emission factors of CO2 in forest and agriculture lands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soil CH4 and N2O balance from forest and agriculture lands<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scenarios for reduction of GHG emissions from nutrients-rich organic soils<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projections of GHG emissions from different land uses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation of the impact of GHG emission reduction measures and their socioeconomic implications, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As emphasized by Emanuele Lugato, scientific project manager of the European Commission\u2019s Joint Research Center, the management of organic soils plays a significant
